hese fabulous birds provided great entertainment as we lay on the beach in Pirate’s Bight, Norman Island, BVI. They were diving for fish as the sun was setting – 10 metres from us. I didn’t appreciate their colours until I saw some of these photos!!

t the end of the Spring Term, our school has an Easter assembly followed by a picnic at a lovely bit of beach by the local Wesleyan Church. Easter assemblies are a revelation to me…we have REAL palm branches to wave after a lifetime of making paper ones for similar ocasions at home!!
