can’t help being amazed and fascinated by Soldier Crabs – I think they are the same as what I know as Hermit Crabs. Have a careful look at the first two photos – I think I found a crab nursery – mum and the kids…you can see which of them moved between photos.

his poor Bananaquit collided with the glass in the patio doors…was a bit stunned…but just long enough to get the photos…then it flew away, right as rain! isited the Bel Air pond again today – lots of green iguanas, turtles and ducks as always…just loved this pair of whistling ducks (yes, they do sound as if they are whistling!)…true love! Look carefully for the turtles.
